Our Mission
The Mission of the Syliah Volmar Foundation is to provide financial assistance towards education to as many children in Haiti, in the impoverished City of Ouanaminthe. Many families lack adequate resources to help pay for their children's education. The foundation provides funds for tuition, books, uniforms, food and other school related expenses.
The Syliah Volmar Foundation seeks to support, foster hope, promote academic and social-economic advancement, leading to self-sustainability, which in turn will benefit future generations.
Ouanaminthe, January 23, 2018 I am Andre Chrislove, Sandra, a student of Institution Univers in Ouanaminthe. I am 15 years old, 10th grade. It is with great pleasure that I am writing this note to say thank you for this great gesture that you, the Girl Scouts presented toward us. On Saturday, January 20, 2018, many students from Univers and other schools received gifts that you sent us. As a recipient of the Syliah Volmar Foundation Sponsorship Program, I am proud and thankful. I thank you, the Girl Scouts. I pray the Lord to keep you, protect you. Again, you Breanna, Megan, and Tiffany. I love you and I send my affections. Thank you, a thousand times, may the Lord bless you!!! Thank you!!! |

English translation of Margarette Pierre's Letter
The following is a letter from one of our graduates at Institution UNIVERS: Good morning or good evening Syliah Volmar Foundation. How are you? I hope all is well by the name of the almighty God. Today, I just cannot find the appropriate words to express the happiness that I am feeling in my heart and the fact that God has put me in your path. You have done me a huge favor that I will not soon forget, and I will never finish saying thank you for all you’ve done for me. I don’t know where to begin. However, I thank God, because he watches over this foundation. Syliah gave me another family, another life. And it’s by the grace of the foundation that I was able to finish my education, because my mother didn’t have sufficient resources for me to continue. It’s the biggest favor anyone could have done for me because I don’t have gold nor silver to repay you for the love you hold in your hearts. It’s because of the foundation that I ask God to multiply this kind of love. Thank you, thank you, thank you a lot. I say to myself, if there is anything I could do to let you know that what you’ve done has greatly impacted my life, I would do it because it still wouldn’t amount to what you did. Thank you for being there to support me, thank you for the love you showed me and thank you for being my second family. May God continue to watch over this foundation, with Him there will always be a foundation that is living, growing and will never die. At last, thank you for making me a child of The Syliah Volmar Foundation. I will do everything in my power to remain active and play a role in this organization. May the Lord continue to lead The Syliah Volmar Foundation on the right path and to help support and foster hope to all Syliah’s Children. Sincerely yours! Margarette, January 20, 2018 |
